I think you are correct. We are pawns in the bigger game. Strangely, I am comfortable with that idea these days!

BTW you have been tagged on the topic "Slow Melodious and Soulful Songs" Please do it if you have time. Something makes me assume you know French!

We are constantly changing and of course some of the pieces will stop fitting so we have to discard them and find ones that fit better.
In life it is the journey that is important not the destination :)
Excellent post!

Thanks for the analogy.

Fitting together is wonderful, but I quite like it when things don't fit either. Those are the times that require me to flex some of those practice muscles. :)

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the pull of what you really love…”

Wonderful words..

I think we tend to hold onto those things that no longer fit - we live in fear if something ends rather than experience it as an opportunity for huge growth or as you have written - "it is that the fit just isn’t a good one any longer."

If we can get rid of our own judgement about what it happening - we could be a lot happier.

Great post Molly..

Great Puzzle, like Spider's Web:

"Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies
Look Out!
Here comes the Spiderman.

- - - -

Spiderman, Spiderman
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman
Wealth and fame
He's ignored
Action is his reward.

To him, life is a great big bang up
Whenever there's a hang up
You'll find the Spider man."

Sounds like practicing Zazen, eh? :)

Thanks, Molly, great post!
